The dissertation focuses on three thematic painting cycles of Ivan Trush about the fate of the tree: “On Loneliness”, “In the Embraces of Snow”, “From the Life of Stumps” and reveals the artistic methods that were used by the author in their creating process. The creative methods of Ivan Trush, discovered in the process of research show the peculiarities and secrets of his creative work, they characterize the stylistic features of paintings, present new evidence and notions.
