The thesis is devoted to research of theoretical, legal and organizational aspects of prosecutor's activity in pre-judicial criminal proceedings. The nature of the related prosecutor's activity, its task and the principles, legal bases are defined. Powers of the prosecutor in pre-judicial investigation and problems of its interaction with other participant of criminal proceedings are analyzed. The considerable attention is paid to organizational and methodical bases of the prosecutor's activity in pre-judicial criminal proceedings as a whole and at separate stages of pre-judicial investigation. Offers concerning improvement of the legal acts regulating activity of the prosecutor in pre-judicial criminal proceedings, and also practice of their application are made.
