Object – central motor programs of automated movements; purpose – to establish mechanisms of food-getting design movements involving the hippocampus (CA3 area) in rats and the role of this structure in the initiation and implementation of the motor program; methods – mechanographical, electrophysiological, histological and mathematical statistics; the results – data of electrophysiological investigations allow us to consider the appointment of CA3 hippocampus area respectively representations about its role as a motivational zone, which serves as the source of increased excitability, and then provide the excilation of brain structures that are the parts of the system management of food-getting movements; branch – medicine.
