The thesis is devoted to the application of problem-modular technology in the preparation of junior medical specialists. The work carries out the retrospective analysis of the use of problem-modular technology in domestic and foreign medical education establishments, determines the main features of problem-modular technology which actualize it for teaching medical professionals. It develops and gives theoretical reasons for the components of the problem-modular teaching technology for medical educational establishments, formulates the definition of the problem module, elaborates its structure in the form of a vertical line of educational problems.
