Essay

The thesis is devoted to the problem of social adaptation of students with special needs to the educational process in higher educational establishments. A theoretical analysis of the problem under research has been done. The essence of the research basic concept is specified. The criteria, indices, levels of social adaptation of students with special needs to the educational process in higher educational establishments are defined. A model of the process is worked out. Organizational and pedagogical conditions of social adaptation of students with special needs is theoretically substantiated and experimentally tested.
