The dissertation is dedicated to investigation of the history of social mode of life in the towns of Podillia at the time of the Hetmanat of P. Skoropadskiy. The features of mode of daily life of the townspeople of Podillia and the activity of Ukrainian State government in social sphere and bodies of town self-government are revealed from the materials of basic original sources. The status of town infrastructure and the main criterions of well-being of the lower middle classes of Podillia is analyzed. A number of welling problems of town municipal economy and local medicine are considered. The reflection of food and financial policy of the hetman's regime on the well-being of town population is investigated.
