Serokurova N. Human-geographical peculiarities of tourist and recreational potential of the Kharkiv region.

Apparatus of concepts and terms of the research is systematized, and structure of tourist-recreational potential of the region is proposed in dissertation. The techniques of human-geographical study of tourist and recreational potential of the region are elaborated, spatial analysis of tourist-recreational re-sources, infrastructure, personnel and organizational management capacity of tourist-recreational activity in the Kharkiv region is conducted. Typology of districts of Kharkiv region in the terms of the levels of availability and use of tourist and recreational potential ratios is done. The problems of tourist-recreational potential of Kharkiv region are revealed and ways of their solution are determined. The features of global and European tourist areas are analyzed; the directions of integration of tourist-recreational potential of Kharkiv region to the European tourist area are defined.
