Kryvoruchko I. Development of the future border guards universal competences in the process of learning the Humanities

The status of the problem in educational theory and practice has been analyzed, the essence of the content and features of the future border guards’ universal competences, the criteria have been defined and their level of development performance of these competences has been characterized. The value-semantic, general, research, educational, cognitive, communicative, self-educational and competence of creative activities that are closely linked are of the particularly importance has been determined. The development of universal competences in the study of social sciences and the Humanities will be more effective under the conditions of motivational orientation of training to master the universal competences for the cadets, optimal use of problem, partly retrieval research and teaching methods to enhance teaching and learning activities of cadets as well as establishing dialogic communication as the basis of pedagogical interaction of teachers and cadets have been determined and experimentally proved. According to the results of the research the methodical recommendations have been developed for the scientific and pedagogical staff as for the development of the future border guards’ universal competences.
