Object: the process of vocational training of future social teachers in higher educational institutions; goal: to ground theoretically, to develop and experimentally test the model of formation of readiness of future social workers to the use of CT in professional activities; methods: analysis, synthesis, comparison, generalization and systematization of scientific theory and normative documents; definition of categorical system of research; justification of psycho-pedagogical, organizational and pedagogical conditions of formation of readiness of future social workers to the use of CT in professional activities and the mechanism of this process, modeling, standardized psychodiagnostic techniques which are adapted to the objectives of the study, methods of collecting empirical data (questionnaire, survey, testing), the method of self-esteem, educational experiment (stating shaping and control); statistical methods; novelty: first: identified a set of psycho-pedagogical, organizational and pedagogical conditions for the formation of readiness of the future social workers to use CT in professional activities, determine the structural components (necessity and motivational, operational and activity, reflexive and appraisal) of readiness of the future social workers to use CT in professional activities, the model of formation of readiness of future social workers to the use of CT in the profession is created, the criteria (motivational, activity, assessment), indicators and levels of formation of readiness of the future social workers to the use of CT in professional activities are defined; the notion of "willingness of future social teacher to use computer technology in their professional activities" is defined as a complex unity, which covers necessity and motivational, operational and activity, reflexive and appraisal spheres of future social educators; have been further developed: research and teaching positions of the theory of formation of readiness of future professionals in the context of the research problem, the theory of informatisation of the educational process and separate spheres of activity, teaching fundamentals of shaping the content of the training of future social teachers in higher educational institutions.
