Essay

The thesis is devoted to the problem of education of civilian qualities on the traditions of homeland in senior preschoolers. In the work the research state of the problem in theory and practice of preschool education is analyzed; the essence of the notion "civic consciousness" concerning preschool childhood is specified; the educational potential of homeland traditions in the context of the problem under research is analyzed; criteria, indices, and levels of civilian qualities in senior preschoolers are characterized; conditions for education of civilian qualities on the traditions of homeland in senior preschoolers are substantiated, methods of the education are developed and its efficiency is experimentally tested.
