Object: primary education of Poland, Czech, Slovakia and Hungary. Aim: exposuring of leading tendencies of reforming of primary education in Poland, Czech, Slovakia and Hungary for the sake of creative account of positive ideas of foreign experience in the process of reforming of the system of primary education in Ukraine. Practical value: the conclusions of dissertation are used in the process of professional preparation of future teachers of initial classes at higher educational establishments, the key points of the investigatio have found their application in the courses "History of pedagogy", "Introduction in the system of education of Ukraine of experience of reforming of initial school of countries of Visegrad Four". Methods: theoretical, empirical, comparative.
