Essay

The dissertation deals with the investigation of the lymphatic outflow tracts from the human nervous structures at the lumbosacral area, i.e. from the somatic lumbosacral plexus and relevant parts of the sympathetic trunks. Architectonic topographical relationships between blood and lymphatic microcirculatory bed along the trunks of the nerve plexus and nodes of the sympathetic trunks were studied. Also principles of the formation of the regional and collector lymphatic trunks of the human lumbosacral nervous structures were established. Ontogenetic and gender features of the formation and structure of the lymph vessels, regional and collector lymph nodes, along with efferent lymphatic pathways of the somatic and autonomic nervous structures of the human lumbosacral area were distinguished. Considerable attention was devoted to the principles of the morphological formation of the main and collateral vessels of the collector vascular-nodular complexes of the lumbosacral nervous structures, together with anatomy of the lumbar lymph trunks and thoracic duct.
