Krutko R. Monitoring of the initial material for breeding these basic types of vegetable plants of the family Solanaceae

Object: The variability of traits and characteristics of interdependence between signs of starting material of sweet pepper, eggplant and tomato. Objective: to conduct monitoring gene pools of sweet pepper, eggplant and tomato, set the level and nature of the variability of agricultural characteristics, the correlations between them, the nature of their manifestation in hybrids F1, identify the selection and valuable source material for improving the effectiveness of selection. Results: The variability of the economic evidence collection samples of sweet pepper, eggplant and tomato. Samples are classified into 4 types in terms of response to changes in growth conditions. Collection samples are divided into 4 groups with different levels of the organization of complex quantitative traits. Found high correlations between pairs of economic traits (0,44-0,73). Created a collection of sources of valuable features of sweet pepper (46 samples), eggplant (9 samples) and tomato (22 samples) with a stable expression of them for different years. Cultivar of sweet pepper Feya (in variety trials), hybrid eggplant Sapphire F1 (in variety trials), the variety of tomato Udavchyk (in the Register from 2012), a hybrid tomato greenhouses for Yarina F1 (in variety trials).
