Essay

It is revealed the number of features typical to the person, who belongs to the masses and it is described the modes of being-in-the mass. The main characteristics of the individual with the status of elitism are considered in the research. It is demonstrated that ethical dilemmas and challenges of globalization actualized the sense of responsibility and developing of communicative ethics. It is found that the definition of being-in-the mass as inauthentic way of human being is inappropriate and that nowadays the distinction between mass and elite is less demarcating.
