The object of the research: psychological health of children.Subject of research: the manifestations of psychological features of mothers as indicators of psychological health of the child.Methodological basis of the research included the following conceptual provisions of the domestic and foreign psychology: a fundamental tradition of Russian psychology of childhood, formed by L.S.Vugotsky, L.A. Elkonin; teaching about determination and regularities of the development of the psyche (L.S. Vugotsky, O.M.Leontiev); the provision of psychological patterns of communication between parents and children(M.I.Lisina); the concept of personal characteristics of mothers with children with developmental disabilities, and their impact on the child-parent relationship (I. Goryacheva, I.A Solntseva); the concept of psychophysiological characteristics of the emotional well-being (В.М.Behterev, К.Е.Izard, P.V.Simonov); the concept of the role of emotion in a child's development (L.A.Venger, L.I. Bozovic, І.S.Kon, B. I. Kochubey, E.V. Novikov, P.M. Levites, Y. Reykovskiy, A.V. Petrovskiy, D.B.Elkonin, D.I. Feldstein, S.A.Kolot); doctrine about the peculiarities of the development of the personality at different stages of life (Z.A.Kireeva, T.M.Tutarenko); concept of development of the child's identity (V.Y.Kyzmenko; G.S. Kostyuk, S.D. Maximenko), the concept of the role of social factor in the development of children's mental and subject paradigm of consideration of the specified process (G.S. Kostyuk, S.D. Maksimenko, V.O.Tatenko).For the decision of problems and achievement used the following methods of research: theoretical (analysis, synthesis, comparison, generalization, systematization of the scientific literature for studying the psychological features of mothers affecting the psychological health of children); empirical (scientific observation, psycho diagnostic testing, postdiagnostic conversation stating and formative experiment to determine the psychological peculiarities of mothers and to review the effectiveness of socio-psychological training for mothers); quantitative processing of data (t-test Student to determine statistically significant differences between groups of mothers and statistically significant differences between groups before and after the formative experiment in using the software package StatSoft Statistika 6.0; method of multiple regression and correlation analysis).Method of psychodiagnostic testing consisted of the following methods: learning styles parental relationship methodology А.Y.Varga, V.V.Stolin, determine the level and forms of aggression by the method of А.Bassa and А.Darku, the study of the level of anxiety on the methodology D. Teylor, questionnaires determine the level of children's aggression and anxiety for parents А.G.Lavrentieva and Т.М.Тutarenko, self-reported mental States on G.Aizenk, test Lusher, test "The non-existent animal".Scientific novelty and theoretical value of the obtained results is that:- first established psychological characteristics of mothers with different level of social well-being and with different levels of the health of children; fixed the differences between the levels of decision-child mothers, children who develop typical and having mental development; peculiarities of maternal attitudes towards children with different levels of social well-being and health; fixed, that the phenomenon of psychological health is not mentioned social well-being and material prosperity; developed an effective socio-psychological training for mothers who have difficulties in the upbringing of children.- clarified and deepened definition of the phenomenon of psychological health; understanding the links maternal relations, which is a marker of emotional well-being and psychological health of the child;- received the further development of knowledge about the relationship of the concepts of the mental and psychological health.The practical significance of the results is that the results of the study manifestation of psychological features of mothers as indicators of psychological health of the child are used in teaching courses, "Age psychology", "Pedagogical psychology", a special course for masters "the Influence of family-parent relations on development of a child" at the Department of General psychology and psychology of personal development of the Odessa national Mechnikov University (act of implementation №18 of 12.03.2012), in the practical activity of a psychologist during the work with families in the Center of correctional and family psychology of Donetsk (act of implementation №1 from 01.03.2013) and in the work of the psychological service of the children's specialized consultative polyclinic of regional psychiatric hospital of the city of Donetsk (the act of implementation № 8 from 30.04.2013).
