Essay

Object - future architects' professional training at the higher educational institution. Purpose - to ground theoretically and approve experimentally the pedagogical conditions of artistic and professional culture formation of future architects during the process of training at the higher educational institutions. Methods - theoretical, empirical, statistical. Theoretical results and novelty - the essence and structure of the notion 'artistic and professional culture of future architect' have been defined; the pedagogical conditions of artistic and professional culture formation of future architects during the process of training at the higher educational institutions have been grounded; the components, criteria (gnostical, processual and reflexive), indices and levels of artistic and professional culture formation of students majoring in architecture specialities have been defined; the essence of the notion 'architects' professional culture' has been specified. Practical results - the methodology of diagnostics of levels of formation of artistic and professional culture of students of speciality 'Architecture' has been elaborated; the experimental training program from the pre-requisite subject of artistic cycle 'Drawing' for architecture specialities has been elaborated; the system of tasks and exercises for students' independent graphic activity has been elaborated; methodological recommendations on the subject of artistic and professional culture formation of future architects have been elaborated. Efficiency of introduction is high. Branch - pedagogical, higher educational establishments.
