Essay

The thesis presents the whole analysis of the development of enlightening ideas and the experience of organizational and educational activity of orthodox monastic monasteries of Ukraine at the end of XVII-XVIII century. There were established and characterized enlightening ideas and the best pedagogical heritage of orthodox church as a main spiritual and social organization of chosen period. There were determined the principal factors that influenced the formation of educational views.
