Essay

The object is mythological image of Ukraine as a world outlook and communicative phenomenon. The aim is to define the principles of formation of the mythological image of Ukraine as a world outlook and communicative phenomenon and the disclosure of the national forming potential of the modern Ukrainian myth. The methods are hermeneutics, comparatively-historical, comparative, system-structural, conceptual analysis, textual-analytical, structuralism, psycholinguistic, archetype-mythological criticism. The features of the ideological myth, its structure and its substantive content, features of actualization and basic functions have been analyzed. The difference between technological and natural myths is shown in their fundamentally different perceptions of the sacred and national. A possibility encoding and decoding of mythological meaning in text structures, in particular, through the mass-media texts, which record the development of ideological myths nowadays, has been determined. Potential mythological systems for national revival have been analyzed. Among the three mythological world outlook and communication systems with national basis, figuratively represented in the myths ("State", "Tragic", "European" myths), defined the last myth as the most favorable for the project construction for the future in modern Ukraine. Application spheres are communicative processes of society, training courses.
