Novikova T. Formation of socio-cultural values of future borderguard officers in the process of humanities studying.

The thesis deals with the problem of social and cultural values forming of future borderguard officers in the study of humanities. The research reveals the working out extent of a problem, defines the content and the functions of social and cultural values of borderguard officers. The criteria and their indicators are determined for finding out the condition of social and cultural values forming of cadets. The research charactarizes the levels of social and cultural values forming of future borderguard officers. The theoretical model is worked out, pedagogical conditions of socio-cultural values of future borderguard officers are grounded and experimentally verified in the study of humanities: understanding the importance of social and cultural values for future professional activity by the cadets, readiness formation of the management team, reasearch and teaching staff for the development of social and cultural sphere of the cadets, ensuring the motivational need of future officers to self improve professionally, attraction the cadets' attention to social and cultural values of the representatives of other cultures studying. Systematic recommendations are formulated for the formation of social and cultural values of future borderguard officers, which show the main activities of research and teaching staff.
