Object ? the system of professional knowledge and skills acquirement of students in higher education - the future specialists in physical education; aim ? to improve the system of professional knowledge and skills acquirement of students - future specialists in physical education; methods: theoretical (analysis and synthesis, induction and deduction, idealization, abstraction, analogy, extrapolation, summarizing, system approach, classification, modeling, methods of mathematical statistics) and empirical research (document analysis, interview, a pedagogical experiment, observation, comparison, testing); novelty - concerning modern tendencies in educational development as well as regulatory requirement in reformation of higher education in Ukraine, we have determined the content of physical education and systemized the qualifying requirement for professional physical education training in order to obtain bachelor degree in the form of generalized structure of activity - production functions, common tasks for physical education specialists, basic skills that are essential to provide the solution of physical education typical tasks; developed didactic as well as integrative model for professional knowledge and skills acquirement in the preparation of specialists in physical education which generalizes and emphasizes the fundamentals of didactic integration in terms of its application for formation professional preparedness specialists in physical education and proved it efficacy; results ? clarified qualification requirements for physical education specialists' training; developed didactic as well as integrative model of professional knowledge and skills acquirement among physical education specialists; developed recommendations to improve technology of physical education specialists' training; industry - physical education and sport.
