The thesis is the result of a comprehensive study on the activities of the Public Prosecutors' Office of Ukraine on protection of rights and freedoms of a human and a citizen. It considers the place of the Prosecutor's office in the Human rights protection activities of the state. It is proved that currently Human rights protection is an essential task for the Public Prosecutors' Office in carrying out all its functions, especially in supervising the observance and implementation of laws.
