Essay

Funded and analyzed a wide range of archival sources. The process of liberation from German occupation of Ternopil in March and April 1944 were viewed. Established military and political significance of Ternopil region in the plane of the German-Soviet military confrontation. Due to attract sources of statistics analyzed the structure and number of units and connections with the Red Army who participated in combat operations in the Ternopil region. The features of offensive tactics of the Soviet armed forces and the implementation of defense forces in Germany were charactarized.
