The Object of research is the traction electric drive of miner storage electric locomotives with converters of frequency and asynchronous short-circuited engines. The aim is to improve the dynamic properties of the electric mine locomotive in the modes of slipping through the synthesis of its management based on non-static speed controllers. Research methods: Methods of mathematical modeling of electromechanical systems on the basis of the equations Lagrange of the second sort, methods of the theory of automatic control, methods of the theory of draft, the provision of the theory of electric cars on the basis of which mathematical models of electromechanical systems were constructed, bases of the theory of the electric drive, allowing to consider elasticity of elements of kinematic links and the characteristic of loading of object. The method of integral minimum optimal control theory to find the regions of existence of oscillatory modes, the method of least squares of the probability theory and the method of polynomial equations used for the synthesis of control systems. Theoretical and practical results: Algorithms were developed to improve the dynamic properties of the traction drive, as elements of a single electromechanical systems "electric traction - the wheel - the way" with the regime of slipping. Scientific novelty: We have improved generalized mathematical model of the electric mine locomotive, taking into account the non-linearity characteristics of clutch play, multimass; We got the existence of oscillatory processes that allow the parameters of the mechanical part of the electric mine locomotive traction and adhesion characteristics to identify the process of slipping. The degree of implementation. The theoretical results obtained in the course of the thesis, introduced in the educational process of the Scientific-Research Institute of retraining and advanced training of the Ukrainian State Academy of Railway Transport. The control system for an industrial electric locomotive of EKU1M is developed and introduced in " Mechel-Koks " (Chelyabinsk, Russia). An application area is a transport.
