The dissertation is a theoretical and experimental study of the psychological basis for the formation of legal consciousness of future lawyers. This work clarifies the concept of "legal consciousness of future lawyers", distinguishes indicators and the levels of formation of values constitutes of legal consciousness of future lawyers. The level of formation of the structure of legal consciousness is understood as the extent of its development, which is characterized by fullness and completion of the cycle of its mental and emotionally-volitional action to move towards the development of the components: goal setting - goal achievement (cognition, programming) - Reflection (attitude, identification) goal-setting - goal achievement (cognition, programming) - Reflection (attitude, identification). Inspection of psychological basis, activating the formation of values constituting of the legal consciousness of the future lawyers in high school has been performed.
