Essay

The Ph.D. thesis is devoted to the experimental justification of new additional criteria for the polyvalent vaccines evaluation on the basis to finding out their influence on the morphological and metabolic indexes of blood broiler chickens. An experimental model for the justification of additional evaluation criteria for the investigated preparations, that consisted of selection two series that most widespread among registered in Ukraine mono- and polyvalent vaccines (live and inactivated, against Newcastle's disease and infectious bronchitis of chickens), certain types of animals (broiler chickens) and determination of universal indexes of the organism on an inoculation (morphological indexes of blood, hydroperoxides of lipids, malonic dialdehyde and antioxidant activity of blood plasma) was elaborated. The inoculation of live and inactivated broiler chickens by polyvalent vaccines are caused more prolonged deleterious influence on the organism of animals comparatively with monovalent were shown. Correlation between the changes of lymphocytic-pseudoeosinophilous index of blood, malonic dialdehyde and antioxidant activity of chicken blood plasma and increase of antigens amount in the preparations that justifies the use these indexes as additional criteria for the polyvalent vaccines evaluation was proved. It is recommended to complement the existent state checking and supervision system in quality of veterinary immunobiological facilities by the use of additional criteria for the polyvalent vaccines evaluation as on the stage of their development, preclinical and registration tests
