The object of research: processes in the spiritual and religious area of Southern Ukraine the second third of XVIII - the middle of the ХІХ century. The aim of research: explore the history of the Orthodox Military clergy of South Region 1734-1853, considering the heterogeneity of this group of subordinate clerical department and focusing attention on the transformation of management system and the character of depending clerics from parishioners, military and spiritual management, the order of formation, the activities of the military clergy and the his material providing. The subject of research: orthodox clergy of armed groups and institutions Defense Ministry in the South region in the second third of XVIII - middle ХІХ century. The methods of research: analytical, synthetic, historic-genetic, historic-comparative, problem-chronological. The results of research and novelty: studied the order of formation of the military clergy of the region. Investigated the changes in the management system and transformation the degree of depending clerics from their parishioners, spiritual and military management. Clarified and systematized data of the material providing of the activities South Ukrainian military clergy. The sphere of usage: the further research of the current subject, writing of the synthesis works, manuals, reading of the high school courses on the history of Ukraine.
