Lenchenko F. Becoming and development of consumers’ cooperative societies in Kyiv province (1868-1917 years).

In dissertation are revealed the specific features and general tendencies of the development of consumers’ cooperative societies in Kyiv province in 1868–1917 years. Historical analysis of the literary sources as to the highlighting of the experience of consumers’ cooperative societies in Kyiv province in a market surrounding of the second half of the XIX-th and the beginning of the XX-th century is conducted. Becoming and development of cooperative education is considered. The place and role of Kyiv region periodicals in the development of consumers’ cooperative societies on its territory in 1905–1917 years is determined, specifically of central publication are “Herald of cooperation”, “Union of consumers”, “Cooperative world” etc. The role of figures of cooperation in Kyiv province of H. Baranovskyi, V. Domanytskyi, M. Ziber, Y. Yyrkevych is appreciated in it.
