Fomin F. The Evolution of Family in the Context of Socio-Cultural Realities of Contemporary Ukraine.

This dissertation represents social-philosophical analysis of the development of family and marriage from antiquity to the present. Topicality of this research is determined by the fact that this phenomenon, as one of the most advanced forms of social organization of human being, had not been fully considered in the philosophical writings. Phenomenon of family was analyzed according to methodological and philosophical positions of metaanthropology, what reveals existential aspects of family being, ability to understand its metamorphosis in everyday, limited and meta-limited dimensions of human existence and allows to consider family in the context of gender partnership - partnership family. Philosophical analysis of phenomenon of love, as one of the fundamental grounds necessary to form partner family, was performed. Socio-cultural characteristics of traditional Ukrainian family were analyzed. Further development had got analysis of family relations transformation in postmodernity. The main problematic issues of the state family policy in Ukraine were considered, and offered suggestions for their solution.
