Kramarska N. Efficacy of treatment of patients with severe bronchial asthma with various inflammation

Object of study: severe bronchial asthma; aim - to increase the effectiveness of treatment of patients with severe bronchial asthma by pathogenesis reasonable use of atorvastatin in the base combined therapy; methods: clinical, laboratory, functional, statistics; novelty: a study of clinical and functional and immunological effectiveness of atorvastatin in combination therapy in patients with severe bronchial asthma with different types of inflammation. It is shown that the use of atorvastatin in complex basic treatment leads to positive dynamics of the disease, improve the performance of lung function, maximal normalization of the cellular composition of induced sputum and functional condition of granulocytes local protection, reducing the concentration of pro-inflammatory cytokines in the serum of patients with predominantly neutrophilic type of inflammation.
