The thesis is dedicated to the analyses of the Ukrainian peasantry mentality changes under the influence of Soviet totalitarian system formation. In her thesis the author applied also the new theoretical and scientific methodology. By bringing out, summarizing and giving critical analysis of the documentation of the central and regional archives of Ukraine as well as the achievements of the home and foreign Historiography the author gives the complex of the Soviet power arrangements in 1920-1930-ies directed to the break of traditional and formation of the new outlook of the Ukrainian peasant.
