Romanchyshyn O. Forming of readiness of students of pedagogical colleges to athletic-health work.

The objective - staffing problems of physical education in Ukraine, the goal -improving of staffing supply of sports and recreation activities in Ukraine; methods: analysis and generalization of literature resources and papers' data, content- analysis, sociological (questionnaire, survey, expert assessment), mathematical modeling (multiple regression model of students' readiness to sports and recreation activities), medical and biological surveys (anthropometric measurements, functional researches, functional test), teaching (observation, experiment, testing the level of physical fitness), psychological and methods of mathematical statistics; novelty - the structure of readiness of future specialists in sports and recreation activities in the value-motivational, cognitive, action-conditioned structural and functional components has been defined; the way of determining the scale of future specialists' level of readiness for sports and recreation activities has been justified, which involves the use of multiple regression equations taking into account the degree of components' importance; pedagogical conditions have been defined and expediency of their application has been proved referring to the formation of students' readiness to physical recreation activities; results - the original diagnostic method of determining the level of students' readiness to physical recreation activities has been determined, that implies application of multiple regression level taking into account the degrees of components' importance; recommendations for improving the organization of the process of formation of readiness to sports and recreation activities have been worked out-introduction of modules "Healthy lifestyle and its components" and "Physical recreation" to the content of subjects and issues of these modules to examination requirements; a complex teaching course "Sports and recreation activities" has been developed and introduced; branch - physical education, sports and human health , teacher education.
