Object - physical education of preschool children; objective - to improve organizational and methodological principles of improvement of the motor function of children aged 3-5 years in the process of physical education; methods: general scientific methods - analysis, comparison, classification, summarization; sociological - oral examination, interview; medical and biological - dynamometry; pedagogical - observation, testing, experiment, which included stating and forming steps; psycho-diagnostic - testing orientation of a child's motor motion activity (MMA); mathematics and statistics; novelty - the organizational and methodological foundations of physical education in kindergartens have been defined for the first time, physical education, focused on improving motor function of children aged 3-5 years with different orientation of the MMA; the advantages of methods of studying motor actions, which presuppose symmetric mastering the techniques of their execution, were well-grounded for the first time; the peculiarities of revealing and changes of the investigated parameters of the motility, physical qualities of girls and boys with different orientation of MMA during the 3rd-5th years were established for the first time; the knowledge about the interrelation between the development of motor function and physical characteristics as well as the scale of manifestation of the latter in children aged 3-5 years was studied with greater detail. Results lie in developing the program of improving the motor function of pre-school children in the process of physical education in kindergartens, which takes into account certain organizational and methodological foundations of this process. The suggested project is reflected in the practical recommendations, embedded in the learning process of kindergartens № № 25, 49 Chernivtsi. The materials and results are also used in the process of training of future specialists in physical education, preschool teachers in Kamyanets-Podilskyi National Ivan Ohienko University, Eastern European National Lesia Ukrainka University and Chernivtsi National Yuriy Fedkovich University.
