Essay

The thesis is devoted to the research of peculiarities of reconstruction of the structural components of the spleen at different stages after experimental thermal trauma. Conducted morphological, hystochemical, immunohystochemical, electron microscopic, morphometric studies on white rats found that severe burns cause significant morphological changes in the structural components of the spleen at different levels of their organization. Consistency and depth of changes of peripheral organ of the immune system are in direct proportion to the period after applying burn. At the early stages of the experiment (early stage of shock and toxemia of burn disease ) reactive changes that occur in the structures of the body are adaptative – compensatory in nature, but also present the initial signs of degradation. At the later stages (stages of late toxemia and septicotoxemia) profound, irreversible destructive – degenerative changes of all spleen structures are developing, violation of immune functions and decreas of macrophage activity occur, ultrastructure of immune cells is damaged.
