Popov O. Social-pedagogical technologies of work with delinquent youth in Germany

Thesis is dedicated to the research of social-pedagogical technologies of work with delinquent youth in Germany. Political and legal framework for the social-pedagogical work with young offenders in this country is clarified. Basic conceptual approaches to defining, structuring and classifying of social-pedagogical technologies are analyzed; two groups of technologies (functional and special) are distinguished and characterized, the peculiarities of their application in work with delinquent youth in Germany are exposed. Major directions of social services work with this category of clients are characterized, especially: prevention of delinquent behavior amidst youth, participation in the law processes concerning young offenders, work with young probationers and social-pedagogical with imprisoned youth. The possibilities of adaptation and implementation of German experience in the domestic social-pedagogical work with young delinquents are defined.
