Object: process of professional preparation of future teachers of physics in higher educational establishments; goal: theoretically substantiate and experimentally test the pedagogical conditions, which provide efficiency of process of forming of readiness of future teachers of physics to the use of information technologies in professional activity, methods: analysis of scientific literature, systematization, modeling, observation, questioning, discussion, ranking, pedagogical experiment, the methods of mathematical statistics, novelty: pedagogical conditions of formation of readiness of future teachers of physics to use of information technologies in professional activity are determined and scientifically grounded, results: special course „Information technologies in professional activity of teacher of physics” for the students of speciality „Physics”, program and scientific - methodical support of training "Information technologies in teaching of physics at higher school", methodical recommendations for teachers on questions of the use of IT in professional activity of teacher of physics are developed; field – theory and methodology of professional education.
