The thesis is devoted to the improvement of cold storage apples Idared, Golden Delicious, Jonagold and Reinette Simirenko by postharvest treatment 1-MCP.The effect of postharvest treatment 1-MCP to the marketable products output after seven months of storage, ground skin color and flesh fruit firmness, the content of soluble dry matters, titrated acids and chlorophyll in the skin are obtained. Postharwest treatment of 1-MCP inhibits ethylene discharge during storage and shelf-life a 20 degrees.Scientific expediency postharvest treatment 1-MCP fruit varieties Golden Delicious, Jonagold and Reinette Simirenko followed by common cold storage at a temperature 3±1 °C and 85–90 % air humidity.Economic evaluation demonstrates the high efficiency storage of fruit varieties Golden Delicious and Reinette Simirenko with postharvest 1-MCP treatment.
