In the thesis for the first time there is defined the dynamics of motivational priorities of students for professional development from I to IV studying course, their transformation in the learning process, which leads to a decrease in their practical, theoretical and functional training; it is found that the critical period for reducing students' motivation to learn is the third year; during this period indifference to the learning activity begins to manifest, there is a decrease of interest in sports, decrease of emotional background, there is a sense of uncertainty in the correctness of their actions and concerns; identified the structural base of motivation to learn and improve professionally-applied physical fitness of students, which are: interest to the professional activity, motivation of success and achievement, the propensity for professional work, values, mental health, health and functional status (biological age); developed organizational and pedagogical conditions of the educational process, helps to maintain stable motivation to master professional-applied theoretical and practical training of the students of specialty "Physical Education".
