Essay

Object: Ukrainian socio-political, cultural and educational organizations of Beresteyshchyna in the interwar period of the XX century. Objective: analyze of instances socio-political and national-cultural life of indigenous population of Beresteyshchyna in the time of the land belonging to the Second Rzeczpospolita. Methods: historical, systematic and structural, comparative-historical, historical-retrospective, problem-chronological, prosopography. Results: for the first time a comprehensive analysis of the socio-political and national- cultural life of the Ukrainian population of Beresteyshchyna in 1919-1939, the specific and forms of resistance Ukrainian population of Beresteyshchyna to external influences is investigated, participation of the national government structures of Western Ukraine in the decision of Ukrainian issue in Beresteyshchyna is uncovered, groundless of Polish historians statement about ostensibly progressive nature of incorporation the territory in the Polish state as Soviet historians about the "struggle" population of Beresteyshchyna for belonging to the Byelorussian Soviet Socialist Republic is proved, the importance of Russian political influence on the deployment of national identity population of Beresteyshchyna is stated. Scope of application: for the preparation of generalized and specialized works on the modern history of Ukraine, Belarus, Poland and for reading of specialized courses in higher education institutions.
