Essay

The Dissertation is dedicated to raising fuels efficiency and environmental safety of truck diesel engine operating on biodiesel. Computational and experimental research of the impact produced by biodiesel on fuel efficiency and environmental safety of a truck. The research results led to conclusion that it is possible to reduce consumption of biodiesel fuel in heat equivalent by 3% and reduce discharge of pollutants with diesel exhaust gases by 10% by means of reducing the angle of the fuel injection timing advance by 2…3 degrees of the crankshaft rotation and reducing of nominal cycle fuel supply.
