Essay

The thesis is dedicated to the development of self-control skills among students specialized in economics in the process of psychological and pedagogical training. In the course of research, the essence, content, structure, forms and methods of self-control over educational activity were described, the problem status regarding the self-control skill development among students specialized in economics in the process of psychological and pedagogical training was studied and summarized. The essence and content, classification of self-control skills in terms of educational activity, levels, criteria and indicators of their development were defined. Pedagogical conditions of developing self-control skills in students specialized in economics in terms of educational activity were discovered and theoretically corroborated; the model of the problem generation being studied was formulated and experimentally verified. The research experimentally proves the efficiency of the proposed pedagogical conditions. The quantitative, qualitative and statistical analyses were conducted, revealing the trend changing the criteria of self-control skills in the context of educational activity, general levels of their development among students specialized in economics in the process of psychological and pedagogical training of experimental groups. The results obtained can be used in the teaching practice that was reflected during the approval of the work in higher educational establishments.
