Essay

The dissertation is devoted to the complex research of the life, scientific and educational activities of the Ukrainian State Prize in the sphere of science and technology Laureate, academician of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences (RANS), Professor Vladimir Nikiforovich Stanko. Historiography of this problem and source base were analyzed in the dissertation, revealed his contribution to the study of the problems in national archeology, еthnology and ancient history of the South of Ukraine. The scientific work shows the activity of the scientist in the development. For the first time the author traces the formation process of Stanko's own scientific school.
