Main peculiarities of language teaching in special schools with their in-depth study are clarified in the research. А range of tasks are implemented in the thesis: theoretic and methodological bases of the research are justified, main directions of education policy for the organization of education in special schools with in-depth study of foreign languages during the late twentieth - early twenty-first century are determined; semantic aspects of teaching of the core subjects in specialized schools of foreign languages are characterized; organizational and methodological support of the process of teaching of the core subjects in special schools with in-depth study of foreign languages is analyzed; prospects for creative use of the experience of teaching foreign languages in specialized educational institutions in Ukraine during the late twentieth - early twenty-first century in modern secondary schools are described.
