The political, religious, educational, cultural, and socio-economic status of Holm’s Ukrainian population in context of the Polish national policy in 20 – 30-s of ХХ-th century was examined in this dissertation. Identification of the main ideological principles of policy on national minorities was based on the analysis of the historiography of the problem and on a wide range of sources, which was used. Features of this policy, which has implemented by the central government and the local provincial administration in Lublin province was investigated. The questions of the catholic expansion and polonization Holm’s Ukrainians, the role of the Polish Army in this process were surveyd. The content of public policy in the religious sphere on the Orthodox Church in Poland was defined. The educational and cultural policies of the Polish government on the Ukrainians was outlined. The policy of "strengthening polishness" during the landed’s reform 1920 – 1925 and its impact on the socio-economic situation of the Ukrainian peasantry were opened up. Also the main forms of Ukrainians struggle for realizetion their constitutional rights were determines.
