Oleg R. Manor of the nobility in the right-bank Ukraine: economical and socio-cultural aspect (second half of XIX-beginning of XX century).

This thesis explores the peculiarities of development of the nobility’s manors in the right-bank Ukraine from the second half of XIX till beginning of XX century, in particular economical and socio-cultural aspects in the context of modernization reforms in Russian empire. The author had described agricultural dedication of the region and explored the factors and elements of nobility’s households. On the basis of system-wide approach to exploration of the topic the peculiarities of administration management and economic planning of nobility’s manors, territorial land relations, time history of profitability and influencing factors were discovered. Historical statistical method worked towards analysis of information related to volumes of grain and industrial crops, livestock number etc. The role and significance of manors’ owners for social and retirement insurance of the local community was determined; peculiarities of landowners’ charity work, sponsorship of education, churches etc. was discovered.
