Essay

Object: national-cultural and religious processes in Galicia in 1920–1930-th years. Purpose: analysis of national and religious, cultural and artistic life of Poles of the Lviv during the interwar period (1919-1939). Methods: historical, logical, organizing, chronological, typological, problem-chronological, comparative-historical. Results: for the first time a comprehensive analysis of the processes of national-religious, cultural and artistic life of the Polish community in the city Lviv of the interwar period, analyzed the role and place of the Roman Catholic Church in the spiritual and cultural life of the interwar Lviv, including charitable activities of the metropolitan chapter, cultural and educational actions of Catholic societies during the Catholic action, determined the impact of the national factor in the cultural process as an example of architecture and fine arts, and analysis of theater-musical life, the development of the publishing business, the functioning of the Polish state and private museums and archives, improved characterization of ethno-socio-cultural transformations in the interwar Lviv. Scope of application: for writing works on the modern history of Ukraine and Poland, the historic study, for the preparation of standard courses and special courses in higher educational institutions.
