The thesis is devoted to morphological and functional features of testis tissue under conditions of simulated exposure microelementosis, finding ways to correct the detected changes. Morphological changes were studied by measuring organometric of testes, methods of light microscopy, morphometry, electron microscopy, chemical analysis, mathematical and statistical data. It was found, that the structural changes of testes of mature rats occur under conditions of microelementosis which manifest as a disturbance of spermatogenesis epithelium, a connective tissue overgrowth, a microcirculation disorders, a damage of blood-testis barrier, accumulation of heavy metals in this organ. The degree and expressiveness of transformations depend on the term of impact microelementhosis and animal's age. The investigations revealed quantitative indicators that characterize the relevant injury and adaptive response of testis. Application of metabolic medicine Arginine aspartate allows to reduce injuries of animals' testis. Results of the research are applied into educational process of departments of human anatomy of medical institutes of higher education.
