The Object of study – is managers’ training in the high pharmaceutical establishment. The purpose of the study is development, theoretical ground and technology experimental examination of the professional competence formation for future managers in pharmaceutical industry. Novelty: We have defined the structure for the professional competence formation of future managers in pharmaceutical industry, the technology of professional competence formation of future managers in pharmaceutical industry in National University of Pharmacy and the feasibility of its use has been proved, the scientific concept “the manager’s professional competence in pharmaceutical branch” has been introduced; identified and defined pedagogical conditions their impact on the efficiency of professional competence formation of future managers in pharmaceutical industry, characterized by levels of professional competence formation of future managers in pharmaceutical industry, improved the essence of components of future managers’ professional competence in pharmaceutical industry; criteria (motivational, cognitive, activity ) and indicators to assess the levels of professional competence formation of future managers in pharmaceutical area, students’ further development training and learning activities, taking into account the features of future managers’ training in pharmaceutical industry in order to build their professional competence, the definition of the role and place of the competency approach in future managers’ preparing in pharmaceutical industry. The results of our research can be used in the teaching of professional disciplines "Management" on economic and pharmaceutical faculties, courses, training institutes of postgraduate management education as a component of teaching excellence.
