The scientific approaches to the interpretation of such research notions as "readiness", "readiness for pedagogical activities at higher school", "future teachers of higher school", "readiness of future higher school teachers for pedagogical activities", "formation of future higher school teachers' readiness for pedagogical activities" are considered according to philosophical, psychological and pedagogical views. The components, criterias, indicates and levels of the higher school teachers' readiness for pedagogical activities are found. The structural and functional model of future higher school teachers' readiness formation is based and developed. It includes following pedagogical conditions: future higher school teachers' creative skills development; the three levels model implementation; students' motivation, systematic monitoring. The efficiency of the pedagogical conditions proved under quantitative and qualitative analysis. It was found that passing reproductive and reconstructive levels allow students to get creative one. Meeting the students' actual needs as for pedagogical knowledge mastering, students' self-assessment and practical pedagogical activities are the ways of forming positive motivation to study Pedagogy and to teach it at higher school.
