Essay

Object of investigation is the breeding evaluation of different genetic lines of plasma, features of morphological traits in lines and their testcrosses. The purpose is selection the self-pollinating lines of different genetic plasma of maize set of signs and synthesis based on these hybrids (FAO 180-290) adapted to the conditions of the western Forest-Steppe. Methods - field experiments, visual, measurement and weight, mathematical-statistical. Results: defined lines that combine high general and specific combining ability with a complex economic and biological properties: DK275, DK257-7, DK237-5, S54555 (plasma Iodent ), DK231, DK272, DK81, S64673, DK203 (plasma Lakaune), DK267/43, DK269, DK959, DK267, DK247 (plasma Mixed). The most effective heterotic models of early ripening hybrids adapted to the conditions of the western Forest-Steppe zone (Mixed*Iodent and Iodent*Lakaune). Created and submitted for state testing of early ripening corn hybrids: DN Zlata, DN Sinevyr and DB Chotin.Novelty – for the first time in the conditions of the western Forest-Steppe of Ukraine conducted a comprehensive assessment of new self-pollinating lines of genetic plasmas: Iodent, Lakaune and Mixed by major plant-breeding grounds and by heterotic model with the optimal combination of genetic plasmas. Established breeding characteristics by which selection for increasing seed productivity is most effective with respect to each germplasm. Studied adaptive properties of different germplasm lines and simple hybrids produced from them. Selected new corn hybrids adapted to the conditions of the area of basic agronomic traits.Area – agriculture.
