The dissertation is devoted to the research of peculiarities of culture establishments work in Ukrainian village in 90th of the ХХth - the beginning of the ХХІ century after the materials of Cherkasy region. On the basis of working out of wide range of sources, most of which are introduced into scientific circulation for the first time, the development of infrastructure of village cultural sphere, regulatory and legal principles of the functioning of culture establishments, basic organizational and thematic directions of their activity are thoroughly investigated.
